Ephesians 6:18
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."
This verse comes at the end of a famous piece of scripture where the apostle Paul is compelling us to put on the full armor of God so we can stand against the wilds of the enemy. He is not only emphasizing the importance of praying for ourselves but emphasizes the importance of praying for the life of others. He encourages prayer in the life of a believer, encouraging them to engage in prayer at all times and for all believers, highlighting the significance of spiritual intercession and vigilance in the Christian life.
This emphasize to pray is where the Can I Pray For You Mission begins. In early 2024, Ryan Schraffenberger, founder of Can I Pray For You, realized that people were in need of intercession. He realized that one of the easiest things that could be done to help people is to pray for them. Being the owner and founder of Promotions Guy, a promotions and marketing company, he realized he could use his expertise in the retail industry to make a difference. This is when Ryan started making the Can I Pray For You shirt and yard signs, and spreading the word among other believers. CIPFY has now grown from just a handle full of people to hundreds of people across the worlds, and will continue to grow to thousands and millions of believers using the power of prayer to make a difference world wide.

We are a global Christian family and organization of sons and daughters who hear God’s voice and through obedience, partner with Him through prayer to reveal His love, transform lives, and establish His Kingdom on earth.

Because He is willing, we pray.
PRAYER IS A WAY OF LIFE FOR EVERY BELIEVER. It is how we hear God and reveal His heart, and see Him heal, restore, transform, and set people free. It is in prayer that we witness the one who prays and the one who receives prayer are both changed, as heaven touches earth.
THE LOVE OF GOD COMPELS US.
Every person is worthy of prayer. We believe prayer is how His love becomes visible and experienced. It is by this love for one another that all people will know we are His disciples (John 13:35).
OUR BELIEFS ABOUT PRAYER:
• WE ARE SENT TO REVEAL GOD’S HEART.
Just as Jesus was sent to reveal The Father (John 20:21), every son and daughter of God hears His voice, is called to reflect His heart, and is sent to pray in His love.
• PRAYER FLOWS FROM THE HEART OF GOD.
He initiates, we respond in obedience. Together, we come in agreement with His will towards every person, in every situation.
• GOD HIMSELF PRAYS FOR US.
Jesus lives to intercedes for us (Hebrews 7:25), and The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness when we don’t know how to pray (Romans 8:26–27). Therefore, intercessory prayer is both a necessity and a gift -we freely receive and freely give away.
• PRAYER IS THE INHERITANCE OF EVERY CHILD OF GOD.
It is not reserved for the mature or the qualified. When we say YES to prayer, we simply say YES to God’s desire to heal, restore, and set people free.
• PRAYER IS BOTH PERSONAL AND PUBLIC.
Cultivating a personal prayer life, being in conversation with God in the secret place, and spending time studying scripture with other believers, empower us to pray and serve in the marketplace. It is the devoted heart of Mary that fuels the faithful action of Martha. It is how the Kingdom of God advances through surrendered hearts in community.

Can I Pray For You exists to awaken and sharpen believers to live a God-filled lifestyle through personal growth and community. We are here to empower believers to strengthen their personal walks with God through devotionals, scripture, and other resources that helps them learn how to pray more, trust more, and bring their lives more centered with Jesus Christ which in turn brings them to find the boldness and faith to step out and pray for others.

Can I Pray For You exists to share the love, hope, and compassion of Christ by praying boldly and intentionally for people in their moments of need. We are committed to creating a culture of support where no one walks through struggle alone, offering encouragement, lifted spirits, and heartfelt intercession. Through everyday encounters, we seek to be a visible reminder that God hears, God cares, and God moves—and that prayer can change lives, one person at a time.

This is a movement marked by love, led by the Holy Spirit, and anchored in the finished work of Jesus. Here, we envision ordinary believers stepping into extraordinary partnership with God through prayer.

Thank You for making me Your dwelling place. Let my words, actions, and prayers release Your Kingdom and Your Glory on the earth.
